Pawking Metaws

Its been a while. I decided to let myself fall back in love with pencil on paper... Electronic-land doesn't exactly fly for me. Im thinking of becoming a hermit. (But really Rosie? a hermit, no) Yea, perhaps not. I should still like to be a pair of ragged claws.

Saw Bob Dylan Monday. It doesn't feel like it really happened, Its difficult to imagine yourself in a room having someone so legendary hanging out with you - I mean, it just seems so unreasonable. It somewhat hit me even more after the fact when looking at his old interviews. The H-face was pretty upset about missing out on her all time favourite Dylan song that changed her entire view on life: Don't think twice it's alright. I think it has something to do with Jones Soda. I told her not to think twice about it & that it was alright; I think that may have just exacerbated things.

Simultaneously occurring while Robert was preforming said song - we were running to Place de Scotiabank as fast as our cold legs could take us.  We were running to Bob Dylan and away from the Drunk with the hefty Russian accent who wanted us to hitch-hike with him to the Concert about 50 paces away; a concert for which he also had no ticket...

Got there - Bob was waiting for us - He already had the band going, his hat on & his blazer all buttoned up ready to play... He danced, we danced. H-face and Emcam teared up a little. We all jumped for joy when we called us by name: "thank you fans!" Hearing his speaking voice is I think what sealed the deal for me. Dylan.

Met some fans of the older generation. They were Big on Dylan. One of them just follows him around show to show, she even had her suitcase with her ready to follow him anywhere...yeah. Definitely Big on Dylan.   One had seen him play "75 Times at least" and had some stories for us of his concerts before we were even busy bein' born. She was certainly a free spirited whimsical soul. Heart on Fire for Dylan (alongside her now dead Cat, we discovered)

Dylan thinks that if your going to experience his music; you should go see him play, so photo's & video were banned , but H-face proposed this idea instead:

"My dance with Dylan is complete, and now i dance alone again...with H-face"

Aside: Hoping to be out come january 1st and in the city. Fingers crossed on getting my kitty friend soon, little Haiku...I want you to come hang out with me! H-face with knit you a scarf if you come - so come soon!

G is for:  Great Men.
